Solar Power on Campus

At a time when green economy has become worldly trend, NCU has made "sustainable social development and human happiness" an important goal. 

At a time when green economy has become worldly trend, NCU has made "sustainable social development and human happiness" an important goal. To comply with government's solar power project, NCU has made good use of existing resources and installed solar power with a total capacity of 2,642 (kWp). By estimation, in 20 years, the green power generated by solar panels installed on campus can reach more than 50.92 million kWh, and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 26.53 million kilograms, making NCU one of the Earth-friendly indicator schools.

Next, NCU will continue to evaluate the space available for installing solar panels on campus and increasing equipment capacity, to make contribution to sustainable development of the Earth.
