National Central University Explores a Sustainable Future: Launches Carbon Storage and Geothermal Research Center and Taiwan Polar Institute

On September 11, 2023, National Central University established the "Carbon Storage and Geothermal Research Center" and the "Taiwan Polar Institute" Although these centers focus on different areas, both aim to address climate change and global warming. The Carbon Storage and Geothermal Research Center is dedicated to renewable energy and carbon storage technologies to help achieve the 2050 net-zero emissions goal. Meanwhile, the Taiwan Polar Institute highlights the importance of Taiwanese scientists in polar research, enhancing Taiwan's influence in international climate issues.
